M BUTTERFLY (Feature)

During the Cultural Revolution in China in the mid-1960s, a French diplomat falls in love with a Beijing Opera singer.  Interwoven with allusions to the Puccini opera “Madame Butterfly”, a story of love and betrayal unfolds.
